Help me pls which is better 1080 g1 gaming from gigabyte or evga 1080 ftw???

I'd personally buy the EVGA FTW card

Personally when overclocked they are pretty much identical. The difference comes from the warranty and support offered. EVGA is by far the best you can get for warranty support and customer service. For me than puts them ahead.

Whichever has the higher clock speed. Barring company nuances like how has better support or whatever.

 

Unless you're doing some serious overclocking, you shouldn't be getting the EVGA FTW or Classified cards. The only thing that these cards improve on is the power delivery circuitry for better overclocking beyond the factory overclock (if it has one). I'm not sure if the G1 is the same, but it looks like it is.

If it is that much cheaper then go with the gigabyte, but if all things similar I would go with the EVGA any day.

Price a Evga 1080 SC. Get all the benefits of an EVGA card, but don't have the custom pcb pricing.

With these cards they will all overclock to very similar levels. So then it comes down to how good the cooler on these cards is, whether or not it is a reference design pcb or not and lastly the quality of the companies warranty and support.

 

For me the warranty and support outweighs the others. Some of that has to do with the fact I always by a custom pcb and slap a waterblock on it... so for me it just comes down to warranty and ability to overclock and like I said these are all so close together especially under water that it becomes irrelevant.

 

As long as you aren't using the reference blower style cooler all of these cards should be able to keep temps below 85c and probably under 80. Overclocking will all come with probably 10-15mhz and if I had to guess 25-100mhz on memory. So best case scenario one card might be 1% or less faster than another.
