HElp with 3DS Max 2018 (Mental Ray)

Hello !
so iv been trying to install mental ray on my pc for 3ds max 2018

and its not working. like. it gets installed. but 3ds max never finds it. so I can't use it...
 

help :(

im not sure what you installed but

the same thing happened to Autodesk mental ray standalone plugins
