getting disconnected

I am a Junoir in high school and I want to get away from social media because I've been seeing how addicted myself and most of the other kids around me have become. It doesn't help that i'm very introverted and not the social type either. What little friends I have only really talk to me on social media and I've explained to them that i'm trying to get away from it all and they never really talk to me outside of that. Any idea of how to handle this

Again, what the hell is your responsibility? I highly doubt you do not work with others and have no one to report to at the end of each shift. 

 

If you can function in a team fine, there is nothing wrong with being introverted. Your problem can just be that you feel lonely and wish to make more friends and if that is the case, you are NOT introverted. You just have social anxiety issues and lack the courage to socially connect.
