Hi all, I'm new here but wanted to show you what I am planing on building. This will be my first build so any tips or suggestions on what I have chosen so far would be much appreciated.

I don't be gaming on this as it will just be for work. I render with iray in daz studio and also do a lot of Photoshop work.

Unless you already have the Kingpins, I think any 1080 ti's that are cheaper will work. You won't see much of a performance difference really. For the case, I recommend full tower for better airflow, unless you already purchased the case. Running 2 gpu's and a TR cpu will get very hot.

The case has terrible airflow, get something that looks cleaner and has better airflow imo.

While aesthetics are subjective, the mesh version actually has good airflow and pretty good temperatures.

Thanks for the recommendation. What cheaper ones should I look for? I know I have been told that EVGA make the best 1080ti

The Asus Strix 011G is pretty good. But if you want to stick with EVGA, their FTW3 line is cheaper and around the same performance. You can also go with an EVGA SC2 and overclock both of the cards.

The gpu is the most important part for IRay rendering so I want to make sure I do this part right! So if I do the SC2 cards and over clock them will it be higher in performance then the kingpin?

I was thinking of the corsair 540 air as well. Do you think that might be better?

The main difference between the Kingpin and the SC2 is the stock clocks and the cooler. The SC2 only has 2 fans whereas the Kingpin has 3, so airflow is crucial. Once you start overclocking cards though, its pretty much silicon lottery and high temperatures holding you back. As long as your case cooling/airflow is good, then the difference of one fan shouldn't make much of a difference.

Yea, it probably will be better, but it will collect slightly more dust inside probably. The Cooler Master H500P has a plastic cover in the front that will restrict some airflow for the intake fans, and a cover on the top, restricting some hot air inside the case. (This is assuming that you are using intake in front, exhaust on top). The Carbide 540 is all mesh, which allows for much better and less restricted airflow.

Excellent. I like the carbide 540 alot to. Also the H500P that I am looking at is the new Mesh version! But it still doesn't have mesh on top where my 360mm rad would go so that may be a downfall

Actually, not true (EDIT: partially). The Kingpin series from EVGA are there becasue they guarantee you the best out of best chips. Everyone knows about "silicon lottery", so the EVGA made it to put end to it. So when you buy Kingpin card you can be sure that it overclocks very well. And higher overclock means better performance.
