Sapphire definitely. Their nitro+ line-up is just a beast. Quiet, cool, overclocks like crazy. And if no overclocking the power draw isn't out of this world either, <150W

About 30% over what it used to be. But well worth it if someone is looking for a decent GPU right now.

Or we can all wait for AMD's Navi GPUs. 6 or so months to go...

Yes, they're good. But if you are not interested in something like a 1080 or 1080 Ti then a switch to AMD should be fairly simple.

it links me to newegg belgium where the card costs 275e. That's not too bad for a 570, I payed 300e for a rx580 before the mining boom, and 350e for a 480 in spetember 2016.

Eu prices are higher regardless, we don't have mrsp as US does, so no real clue how much the card should cost here. A rx580, probably around 300/350e, 20% VAT included.

aiming at 1070 perfomance i'd need a vega card for that (which i wouldnt mind if the prices weren't skyhigh)

I really wanted a Vega card. even before the GPP story broke.

But the current prices are just insane.I bought a Gigabyte GTX1080 Gaming for 750$. The Vega 64 equivalent (The same card -Gigabyte Gaming - in the same store) cost 1,400!

PC:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 | Asus ROG B350-i Gaming | Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce | Corsair CX650M | G.SKILL RIPJAW 16GB 3000Mhz | CoolerMaster MasterLiquid 240mm RGB AIO | SK Hynix SC308 256GB M.2 SSD | 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HDD | Fractal Design Define Nano S

Peripherals:

Red Dragon K552 Kumara RGB | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | LG 29WK600-W 29" UltraWide | Razer Kraken USB
