I am thinking about buying a mesh network for my home. I looked around and saw how several mesh WiFi routers come in packs of three and how they connect to each other. Does anyone know if they are cross compatible? Could I hook a google mesh router up to an asus mesh router? They clearly have drivers. Could you get the google app to think that it is a google WiFi point? Could you make a video on this please?

No, they are not cross compatabile. They will not work together. I don't know why you think they "clearly have drivers". The Google app, or the eero app, or the Velop app, etc. don't load a driver, they just talk to the router via the app and the app will only talk to the respectively branded router.

I do recommend the Google Wifi setup. It's easy, works great, and a good price for the quality.
