I want to use a mixer, which will have my consoles, my pc, and my mic plugged into it because I want everything in it to use for streaming. I also want to buy the razer tiamat 7.1v2 for the true 7.1 surround sound to use for competitive games. So if I just use some splitters (one way going to the mixer and the others that the tiamat would use going to the tiamat at the actual sound connectors from the motherboard) will it still give me all the sound in all of the drivers for the tiamat and will it sound as good as if it wasn't going two ways because of the splitters?

I want to buy razer headphones and they have five speakers in each side that's true 7.1.

Not worth your money man seriously step back and think of what your spending $200.00+ USD on...  Razer is NOT a speaker/audio company all their headset sales are based on marketing tactics.    I even a couple years back fell for the marketing while in best buy I purchased a pair of Kraken 7.1 to get by with and initially they were just meh... but after getting my hands on some DECENT headphones I will NEVER buy another "Gaming" headset ever again.  The sound quality is just so much better its not even comparable the razers just sounded washed out.

Seriously there is no such thing as 7.1 in a headset if your talking about a home theater totally different story... Please DO NOT buy that headset here is what you should buy and you will be very pleased.

I'm wanting to buy good headphones and the tiamat. I've made up my mind and I just want to know if it will sound ok with the splitters. That's it.

I gotta agree. I used to be on the Dolby-SurroundSound-multi-driver-per-cup-Astro-SoundBlaster-RGB-in-a-pyramid bandwagon.

@johnukguy is on the nose with her/his/their post. @Activatemyrem ... @Tz000 linked to an interesting deal... and yes, I know the M40x get some polarizing reviews. It’ll still be a better option than the 7.1 headphone path.

Anyway, my 2 cents...
