Win10 won't detect G920

Hello everyone!

 

So I tried using my Logitech G920 Wheel on my computer but Windows won't detect it. I tried installing the software for the wheel but even the software won't detect the wheel.

 

What can I do?

does it show up in device manager? (you may have to show hidden)

Try to unplug other unused devices... Go to device manager and scan for hardware changes

For me, I had generic controller support enabled in Steam big picture. This prevented me from using the wheel. Try disabling that.

I took delivery of my G29 yesterday and I had the same problem.

 

I don't know if the G290 has the same switch, but look on top of the steering wheel and you'll find a switch for PS3 and PS4. Switch it to PS4 mode aka PC mode. I don't think you have the same ps3/ps4 switch as I do because the G290 is made for Xbox/PC (although the G29 has the same support for PC and looks better in my opinion)
