How do motherboards work?

I'm looking to build my first PC some time this year. I know what parts to get but am confused if I need special screws for the motherboard or and other parts. Are screws or cables included in the box, or just the motherboard and a couple of mandatory parts?

So the screws for the motherboard will come with the tower you choose to buy to install your PC hardware in.

 

They are mandatory, but every case manufacturer has specifications they have to follow from motherboard manufacturers and vice versa.

To answer your question you should buy a decent case you should get all the screws with it and you should get good fans to. Less cut fingers to.

Do PCPARTPICKER and look at Motherboards there will be a list of Cases that are compatible at the bottom left side.  Not all cases are listed.

 

A brand Case and MB should have have all the parts, that you will need.

Ok. Descriptions never say parts included. I assume they are included. Just not buying any apple motherboards. They can't even include a fast charger with their phone. If I have issues, I will make a post later.
