Web Development Ideas

Well the title says it all really. I'm looking for ideas to practise web development (both front- and backend) and I'm hoping you guys can help me out ^^

Any and every idea is welcome!

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

I strongly advise trying to do things through docker. Look at a base image like httpd, apache, start from there. Once you have the hang of how docker works (assuming you don't right now), then try a more advanced setup for a "real" site.

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

I probably should have clearified this, I've already built numerous websites, which is why I've run out of ideas. I've built everything from music players to forums I can think of.

I wouldn't call myself a beginner...

In that case, take those concepts, and apply them using containers. Take, for example, a music player. Separate the various services you may have (interface, database, etc), put them into their own containers, and get them to communicate using docker-compose.

It will greatly increase portability of your code, and it makes you generally more attractive skills-wise to be able to say you're comfortable using containers.
