I would honestly upgrade the CPU, if you have this CPU right now. FX-6300 is quite old and will definitely struggle in some modern games, especially more CPU-bound games. If you don't have the budget to upgrade, then it will have to do for now.

 

If you are building a new system, then definitely look for something newer.

The 1050Ti pairs quite well with the FX-6300, but the FX-6300 is not worth the cost if you're buying new. Grab an R3 1200 or 1300X instead.
