Games Freezing

I've had this PC for what is closing in on two years, and I've never had an issue. I'll be playing games and randomly the game will just freeze, though whatever I still do whilst it's freezing still happens. So if I'm playing counter strike, the Auto-disconnect will come up, though I can still move around and shoot, my screen just doesn't unfreeze for about 10 seconds. This is happening in all games I play, and at first I thought it was my internet because of a storm that recently hit my area, but this is not the case.

My specs are good, and my drivers are all up to date

GPU - 1070
CPU - 6700k

Both not overclocked and temps aren't high whilst playing games.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Auto disconnect only shows up for network issues not from hardware issues.

Try under-clocking your GPU a little (Yeah, I know, but just try it please) and also try to see if you can try another monitor, it's common for the monitor's capacitors to blow up. But the Auto-dis connect is quite interesting.
