No all the Seasonic X series PSU's will fit those cables, all the way up to the 1250w Seasonic, X- 750 will be enough to power the 2 7970's, but if you wanted a little more power, it would 't hurt, but it's not necessary.

kk more power i like cuz never no when all buy a 3rd gpu lol to mess with bench mark plus i dont pay for power in my apt its free in the rent lol :)
