S9 vs s8+

I'm am on a slightly restricted budget but can afford both of these phones fairly well. As the galaxy s9 just came out and the s8+ just got dropped in price I was wondering do I pay 700 for s9 or 450 for s8+. I was wondering for the difference is the future proof worth it for 250 dollars more

S8+ definately. I still use s6 and it stil works great, so the extra price is not worth it, as there is no new improvement
