EVOLV Shift, EVGA, HTPC Build.

Nexmo

My (budget)Phanteks EVOLV Shift, bedroom HTPC.

Specs:

6700k(delidded w/ conductonaut)

1060 3gb pny xlr8

Z170 Stinger

8gb hyperx fury 2400

Evga 120 clc(push-pull, exhaust)

Silverstone 450w gold.

120gb sandisk 110x ssd +500gb toshiba hdd

I got the case the week before it was released, yay shipping errors.

Bought a crappy z270 asrock motherboard, bent pins and missing wifi card. A bit of work and I got it to post, 1 dimm dead.

I5 7500 to test. And a 760 for a few weeks. Wouldn't boot consistently so it got put away till I had more time.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I had another 6700k id picked up for 100$.

Found a z170 stinger for $75 in mint shape.

2x4gb set of hyperx fury for 30$ Facebook marketplace.

And to top it off a 120mm clc from EVGA for 20$ off ebay (broken usb port, no rgb) which I painted the rad and ring of the pump hammered grey rustoleum, to match my ATX build.

I traded a guy the 7500 and z270, along with some old cases, and my lepa aquachanger 240 for a PNY xlr8 1060 3gb new in box. sadly the evga single fan cards look anemic and the 2 fan cards are too big, this fit the scheme perfectly after removing the xlr8 stickers with a heatgun.

Works great with our 49" 4k Samsung in the bedroom, a bit loud as it is with 2 fans split off the aio, I'll get some fan splitters soon to separate them.

Fiancee approved! (She had originally wanted the case for her personal build, but limitations of ITX and potential bad thermals made that less appealing)
