Build with Ryzen 5

Hello!

 

So i'm finally ready for some upgrades, but i will take it slowly. Still want to be sure to do things right and don't do some amateur mistakes.

 

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (175.00 EUR)

MOBO: ASROCK AB350PRO4 (78.71 EUR)

RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 8GB 2400MHZ DDR4 CL14 KIT OF 2 (104.99 EUR)

PSU: MODECOM ATX 2.31 MC-500-S88 BLACK 500W (46.00 EUR) [80 plus silver]

GPU: *waiting for price drop

SSD: *will add in a month or two

 

I'm taking 8 GB of RAM for now with possibility to upgrade.

Not sure about PSU, is the manufacturer good? I'm basicly trying not to spend too much on it.

 

Prices are local. I'm not so trustworthy on global shipments and don't want to wait for weeks.

 

I will be grateful and take any recomendations.

That CPU doesn't have an igpu, so you can't use it without a gpu. Also with the new Ryzen lineup coming soon I'd wait a bit.

I would be using my 750Ti for now as a GPU..forgot to mention.

You think that the price of current Ryzen lineup would stay the same or even drop further?

I don't expect it to drop much actually, just saying that you might get a bit more performance for the same amount of money. Haven't looked into it much but there are already benchmarks an price estimates for the new lineup.

Well then I guess I will wait a bit longer on doing upgrades then..

It dropped a lil this month especially on the used side of things.
