Gaming display - please help!

Hi I hope you can help me as this monitor shopping is doing my head in. I want the best monitor for my money for gaming. My budget is around £300 give or take £30.

I've been looking at all sorts from 120Hz BenQ to normal 60Hz monitors and really cannot decide. One of my main musts is I would prefer a 27" monitor. In fact I may buy two matching monitors if I can ever decide which to buy.

Please help, I want good quality and don't want to be disappointed when turning it on.

Thank you. I'll be playing all sorts of games from MMO to FPS.

Buy 120hz. Sure IPS will look pretty but the smoothness of 120hz will not only look great but it also will give you an advantage over others with 60hz.

The ASUS VG248QE is 144 hz and also supports the G-Sync upgrade kit so my recommendation goes there.
