Hello everyone if you can spare some of your time to help me. Ok, I just recently added a brand new 2.5" SSD (Samsung 860EVO/250Gb) because my primary/boot ssd which is an Corsair MP 500 m.2 Nvme, but with only 120gb of space which i used up, and its full. So bought a new 2.5 ssd with 250gb of space. At first my Windows 10 wouldnt recognize my new 860Evo 250gb ssd, nor even my Bios would show! so after researching I "Reallocated" in Disk Management and thought it fixed it. I mean now in Windows 10 it's showing up and does recognize the ssd. But stil not in my BIOS (Updated to latest Version). So i just went on and in Storage Settings and set 'All New Content' like documents, pics, prgrams, etc, and set it to be saved to my new samsung 250gb SSD. So after all that its still not saving to my new ssd drive. Trying to update one of my steam games, and says theres not "Enough Space" and same for other progams telling me i dont have enough space when i just installed this fresh new 250gb free drive!! Im going crazy...Please help me. I heard even if your Bios dosent recognize your ssd but your Windows does it still works, idk..Ive tried messing with the storage ssd setting in bios and bios still dosen't seem to pick up the ssd drive. Here are some pictures below.

Why don't you just clone the 128 to the 256 and use it as the main drive.

Seems the main drive too fill up that it doesn't have anymore space for temporary files.

If you install steam on the main drive, it would need a temporary space to store the downloaded content.

SSD need 10-20% free drive space or it will be slower and brake faster.

Because that 128gb drive is a M.2 Nvme SSD and want my Windows10 OS and Steam specifically on that drive because its super fast 2000gb read speeds where my new 250gb Samsung 860Evo has about 540gb read speeds and want to use it only as mass storage drive.

Free up some space on your boot drive, you should never have a drive that full.

Ok so If I free up some space on my main drive (m.2 ssd 120gb) my second drive that im trying to get to work will automatically start working?

Unload any big programs and install it on the second drive.

Steam can be installed in the second drive also.

You won't benefits with nvme in games, the difference is not that big.

If you need mass storage, buy a hdd instead, 256gb is just small.

There is no correlation to that, you may have something wrong with the drive initialization.

Format the drive properly

Lots of weird issue come up when you have almost no free space.

Get program like this http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/

and start moving or deleting big files.

Yes, but not about getting the second drive to work.

Formatting the second drive cost nothing on the first ssd.

In the picture in the OP, the drive is formatted and mounted and working, you can just copy files to that drive if you want.

Hmmm. He's writing is hard to read. 2mb of free space ? wtf!

What i think is TS adds the new drive and hope the system will sort it out by it self.

Doesn't work like that, you have to clear the drive yourself.

Move all personal files and delete apps to make some room.
