So I've been doing a lot of research about computers for some time and now considering to build one of my own. I have not built one before but my friend has and is willing to help me. Yes, I get it, it's not the best place to be when you want to build a gaming PC that is capable of running AAA games at around 60fps with mid settings. Luckily for me, I've convinced my dad into putting some $$ in for me ($1000-$1500 AUD). I don't know how long I have till he changes his mind so I gotta act quick!

Could someone build me a compatible rig for around ($1000-$1500 AUD) on https://www.pccasegear.com/ that could run AAA games. thanks :)

7600k is incompatible with Z370 boards, get a ryzen 1600+B350 board or i5 8400 instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

If you want a Z370 board make sure you get the i5 8600K if an i5 is what you want to go for.

I would try to go ryzen, for some reason intel cpu's are overpriced there.

cpu cooler?

Stock one is good enough, even for a small OC, comes with the CPU (r5 1600)

Yeah, a friend of mine has a very similar system (r5 1600, rx 480 8GB) and she's happy with it, she plays AC games and they run quite well. (if you stick to 1080p)

I'd bump it up to an i5 8600k/z370, better performance over ryzen and sure ryzen has better upgrade paths, but the 8600k has better performance than the 1600 at the expense of price and I'd speculate that it will somewhat outperform the ryzen 2600.

EDIT: or just get a 1700 and that'd justify the performance difference imo.

🙂
