Need help with low fps

I am getting low fps and drops on games like Rust, Fortnite, and overwatch. Please any help is appreciated.

My parts:

Gtx 1060 3gb

Ryzen 5 1600

16gb ddr4 ram 2400mhz

430w corsair psu

b350 tomahawk mobo

120gb ssd

I have a 1tb hdd. I just use my ssd for my games.

Yes i updated my gpu driver the other day

RAM is kinda slow, it can cause stuttering on Ryzen systems.

That might be it probably a driver conflict I recommend installing DDU and running it in safe mode then installing the driver off of the Nvidia website.

Now I'm not sure what will happen because ur cpu isn't an apu you might have a black screen when you boot you might have to download the driver onto a usb I think you should probably do some research in case I'm wrong.

windows has basic display drivers built it, it will flicker during the uninstall process then be fine, might lower the res though, that about it.

"Low" is maybe too vague. It would be better if you report the actual numbers and the settings you use *it could be that perfectly correct frame rates seem "low" relative to your expectations, or it could be that you get 5 FPS because 4K ultra all-in AA).

On fortnite I get around 100-120 fps on high settings.
