Ok, so I bought ada XPG m.2 for my rog b350-f board. I planned it to use as a secondary drive rather than a boot drive. My issue is that when the M.2 is inserted bios doesn't even read my other SSD(installed windows or hard drive. It only sees the m.2. I found this really strange. I even updated the bios just to see if that helped? The only solution I can think of is to just install fresh windows on it but I'm worried that my other drives still won't detect. Help?

read your mobo's manual, sometimes (well.. a lot of times) some SATA ports will turn off in order to provide bandwidth to the m.2 slot. just plug your SSD into one that doesnt get shut down, and you're good to go.

what the others have said above, specifically port 5 and 6. from the spec page for your board:

Quote

When a SATA / PCIE mode M.2 device is installed, the M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA6G_5/6 ports.
