even if you don't want to OC if you're waiting for the 8600 for the better clocks (litterally the only difference) than the k version does that for you too.

 

K SKU also has way better resell value and longevity so it's worth imo

I play a lot of unity based games which annoyingly enough use only 1 core so I need a high clock speed. Then I also want to ben able to play the more demanding games, and that is where the 6 cores come in. With ryzen, I do not have the higher clock speeds, although I can OC I have no experience with it and the 2600 specs has not been leaked enough for me to consider it yet.
