So basically a couple weeks ago my computer started crashing to a solid color when I was playing games. I sent my GPU into ASUS and they said they fixed the problem and sent me back a "replacement" today. Sadly, now whenever I open a game I get a black screen. Now I'm wondering if either my PSU is bad or ASUS is living up to it's shit reputation. also nothing crashes if drivers aren't installed, but I have tried many different versions and none work. I've always had trouble with ASUS products. Every product I have ever bought from them has given me issue. Almost too many to count.

I had a similar problem with a gtx 950 I bought from them. It would crash everytime I tried to open a game. I tried using it on different systems, tried installing new firmware, ect. nothing worked. Your best bet is to just contact them again and tell them your problem.

i did prime 95 for like an hour, but i cant do much with drivers installed b/c it crashes all the time. Like 99% sure its the gpu

Prime isn’t gonna do anything to the gpu, unless they made some version that stresses the card too.
