Mechanical drives can die just because of vibration. A drop is certainly not healthy for them.

Have tried to check the health of your device with any software for it?

Hey, i accidently dropped my 8tb seagate hard drive. no strage sounds, but when it shows up, it has no files and i get denied access.

Welcome to the Forums!

Unfortunately it most likely got damaged in the drop. If you have some data on there that is highly valuable you can try sending it off for data recovery but that can get pretty costly. RIP
