So i brought the standalone when it came out, and started downloading it.

yesterday when i shut down steam, i had downloaded 1.5GB out of 4.9GB

today when i started downloading it again, it somehow now read 36.9MB out of 5.0GB

What in the actual Fcuk happened???

so i've wasted all that bandwidth for no reason then???

I guess so.

Never had this issue before. It has always saved its progress even after a power outage for me.

Also, if bandwidth usage is an issue with your ISP, I suggest looking for a new one. Here in Ontario, TekSavvy is great and has a bandwidth cap of 300GB for my plan (which I've never reached in any single month), but still offers better speeds than what the largest ISPs offer at similar prices. I'm not familiar with ISPs in New Zealand, but it can end up saving you a lot of money and hassle.

It's f***ing done it again

Yesterday, I had downloaded 2GB out of the 5GB for the game

today when i fired up steam, it started all the way from zero,

Why the hell has this happened????

Is it because its getting a new patch almost everyday???, If it is, that's f***ing dumb

Waste of my time and broadband
