Your $30,000 LAN gaming 1 CPU, 7 GPU system could be done potentially much cheaper with four heads with an AMD Threadripper CPU.

 

It'd be fun to see a video done on that!

It may be cheaper and doable, but I think they only did that to prove a point.

 

And probably to somehow get an expensive Intel CPU in the lab.
