So recently i built a new computer and installed a fresh version of windows 10 professional x64 , But when i reinstalled chrome it was different.
Whenever i search up anything it takes about 15 seconds to load a page with the data , and when i press on my bookmarks it takes like 5-8 seconds to load. Its not my network problem and i've tried flushing my network , clearing my browsing history , clean installing google chrome , disabling hardware acceleration and extensions but nothing seems to work. Please help , its very frustrating to wait so long when i am doing my school assignments or just searching up stuff.

Even when im using the in game browser in steam it still takes a long time for it to load.

  • Does it happen with Edge as well or Firefox? or it just happens with Chrome?
  • Make sure you install your motherboard chipset drivers, and SATA controller drivers that the HDD/SSD is connected to, if you have it connected to the SATA port that was added by the motherboard manufacture and not the one included in the chipset.
  • Check Device Manager for any missing driver

Microsoft edge is almost instant when I search. Not sure about the other two. And I'm using SSD for OS and Google chrome

Interesting. So it is really specific to Chrome.

Now Chrome like to sync profiles. Did you try clean install Chrome, but never logging into Google services and Chrome? (you should have no bookmarks, no extensions, no nothing. just vanilla Chrome)

I've tried that but ended with the same results even without syncing it was still slow . Its weird cause i have it installed on my old computer with all the data i had before and it was working fine.
