suggestions for inventory software

Hi guys i need some advice.

I work at an company that stores a lot of hardware from other clients, now its very hard to keep track of all the hardware items at the storage.

Now i did some testing with Snipe-It (https://snipeitapp.com/) the program itself works but wtih an empty database snipe-it uses over 150GB just to run it.

And Snipe-it is in my opinion to much because we only need to store hardware.

so my questions to you guys is what do you guys recommend?

i needs to have QR/barcode code support, a web interface, a mobile interface, and that we can self host on our own servers and it needs to be open-source or an one time payment software (no subscription software or pay per upgrade software)

and how Linus does this? i have seen the orginisation vlogs but can't see what kind of software they use

pretty sure they use excel in the organisation vlogs.

and as for actual inventory software.. the place i work at uses some homebrew stuff, due to lack of decent options that were in an acceptable pricerange.
