Hey there. So im building a new PC and my current budget is 570 MAX. Im getting a 7600k from my local microcenter for 190$, a solidproton 550w psu for 27$ from my microcenter, a master box lite 5 case for 40$, 8GB of DDR4 ram for 82, and thats where im stuck. (The total of those things is 339.) So i have about 231$ left and i need a GPU and Mobo. (HDD is being provided by friend for free) I want to get a z270 mobo but the best i could find is this http://www.microcenter.com/product/474599/GAH270Gaming_.... Its 110$, seems reliable and looks nice. However that leaves me with very little. 121$ to be exact. In todays world thats not nearly enough for a GPU. So im trying to think. The mobo, though from a reliable brand and technically overclockable, is just 110. And i know a z270 mobo for that low isnt gonna be able to overclock a ton without having major negative effects. (I think if i wrong please tell me) so im thinking about bundling the 7600k with a cheap b250 mobo which would cost 230. The z270mobo+ 7600k is 300. So i get an additional 70$ which brings my budget up to 190 Which should get me a nice 1050 or if im very lucky a 1050ti. I need to know what you guys think, or if theres anything in my build i can get for cheaper. Thanks!

Why 7600K? No!

Ryzen 5 1600, cheaper, better in most games.

i3 8350K is a rebranded i5 7600K.

Change the PSU, that unit is terrible, get the CM MasterWatt 550 for ~$40 online.

I agree, no point in going last gen on the CPU and leaving yourself so little for the GPU and Mobo.

For PSU go evga or corsair if youre going for the best bang for your buck.

I would say get a 2400G and wait for next gen Nvidia GPUs / save for better graphics. the Ryzen platform is good through 2020 (ie the AM4 Socket).  Get a solid B350 / X370 mobo and go from there

Well the game I play most is Siege so Idk which one is better. Anyways, the 1600 only has a core clock speed of 3.2 ghz. But let’s say it’s the better choice which it may be, what Mobo would I get with it

Also the Ryzen 5 is only 20$ cheaper.

But there's more cores...

Rainbow Six Siege I've heard can use a lot of cores; I'd still recommend the 1600. Even if I that isn't true, I'd still recommend the i5 8400/8600K over the 7600K. It's been replaced.

the B350M Pro4 is a pretty decent choice, $40 after after microcenter's $30 discount.

the 1600 has 2 extra cores with hyperthreading to help it beat out the 7600k, the i5 will start stuttering with a gtx 1070 or higher while the 1600 will be much smoother in performance due to the extra cores. you can also oc the 1600 just fine.

I''ll believe what I like Mr. Power Supply Guy

Corsair and EVGA generally take a larger markup than many other brands. Rosewill, SeaSonic, Riotoro make great PSUs at better prices than Corsair and EVGA, most of the time.
