New Phone

I plan to buy a new phone. My budget is around 500 Euro. I live in germany so the prices are higher than in other countries. I thought about the S8/S8+ or the Huawei Mate 9. 

Anyone have other recommends about a phone ?. I prefer phones with a good battery life and a good display.

I'd say OnePlus 5T has the best bang for the buck.

Same specs as the S8, but no locked OS and is cheaper.

i just got an Essential PH-1 2 days ago. it's a wonderfull device, especially since it costs about 500 now! it easily lasts 1.5 to 2 days with my usage too.

 

you can't really go wrong with an S8 tough. pretty much the reference of a flagship device these days.

Depends on the country. Here in the Netherlands, the 5T is €559 and the S8 can be had for €554, so about the same price. S8 has a better camera and display though.

Holy crap, the S8 is closer to 800euro here. (Sweden)

The S8 here cost 450 Euro new. For me the Oneplus 5T is the camera a bit too bad.

what's wrong with mate 9? 2 days battery guaranteed, flagship phone. Seems a bit tricky to find it now though, on amazon.de I don't see it fullfied by Amazon. The mate series overall is extremely successfull in germany from what I know.

 

Otherwise the Honor 10, subbrand from Huawei, I see you can have it for 450e on amazon.de
