So I was in bed with my pc in sleep mode then suddenly my pc turns on and shuts back off leaving one out of the two lights on, so I go to turn it back on and the power button does nothing, I unplug it

And wait for the light to turn of then I plug the power cable back into the pc it switches on and shuts back off again. Pls help, my pc is an hp elite 8100 sff with a gt1030  and 12gb of ram

could be a dead psu... just my first guess

remove cmos battery for 10 secs and replace

reset time and bios settings

disable sleep/hibernation in control panel/power options.....the reason for this is that pc wake up has always been buggy (common fault) , your better of just shutting pc down when leaving her alone
