Just a laptop, with a 1080p screen, just an i7 4500U, just a dual abnd wireless interface card, only 8gb ram at 1600mhz and horrid intel hd 4600.

for £430 WHAT IN THE LITERAL NAME OF ****.

I was checking out the outlet for dell and found this, in case your wondering its a certified refurb, i emailed dell and they told me what there jargon means

Certified refurb- order was cancelled before former customer received product, product has not been used.

Certified restock- Customer returned the product, product has been used.

Light bump/scratch= Cosmetic damage, product may or may not of used product. The damage is minor and doesnt effect features of the product.

Heavy bump/scratch/dysfunctional= Product is functional however certain features may be disabled due to damage.(i asked for an example, they replied, saying something like a keyboard button missing or a dysfunctional usb slot.(ive not seen any of these as of yet).

Also the outlet gives warranty which is great, good guy dell maybe?

I think you have it backwards, or he told you it backwards.

Typically a restock is a returned new item, a refurb (short for refurbish, which means to bring back to new condition) is a returned used item.
