Mod Mic 4 refund

I ordered a mod Mic 4 from ncix back in October of 2017, and it was just recently that I heard that ncix filed for bankruptcy. Is there any way I can get a refund, seeing as I've already been charged? I can't connect to any of the ncix sites, so I want came here.

They are out of business now, so you cant get a refund. The only way to get a "refund" would be to sell it to someone.

Why would you want a refund for something you bought half a year ago anyways?

If you havent recieved your order and you have been charged, your options are pretty much just doing a chargeback on your credit card. IIRC NCIX cant and wont fulfill any more orders due to said circumstances so you wont be getting much help from them at this point.

you were smart and purchased it on a credit card or Paypal

Two things:

 

1. Your thread title is wrong. The title is "Xbox refund", and you're talking about a Mod Mic 4.

2. Did you receive the Mod Mic 4 already? If so, there's nothing to refund, unless you want to sell it as used to someone else.

 

If you did not receive the Mod Mic 4, what you do now depends on how you paid.

1. If you paid via Debit, Bank Transfer, or cash, then you're pretty much screwed.

2. If you paid via Credit Card, you should call your Credit Card company immediately and request a "Charge Back". Reason: Company went bankrupt and never shipped the item sold.

3. If you paid via PayPal, you should open a case and speak to them. You might get lucky. A lot of their terms changed a while ago and I think you have up to 180 days now to file a claim.

I can confirm paypal gives 180 days to open a case. 

 

Actually, beware though, I just checked and they say they'll change the conditions on 25th may 2018. But yes, until then, it's 180 days. 13.2, point c., in the conditions.

We're happy to help as best we can, but we're missing info @Jeremy12021- Did you order it and it never arrived vs. you ordered it, it arrived, but you are not happy and want to return it (vs. something is wrong with it and it is under warranty).

 

Please reach out directly to me and I'll assist in any way I can. NCIX's bankruptcy was unfortunate and there wasn't any notice given to us either, as you may imagine. We're handling any problems in a case-by-case basis.
