Hold off from buying anything cause GPU prices are insane

Also change SSD from 850 EVO to 860 EVO, PSU to 850 W, I will buy Windows from ebay for $7 and change mobo to ASRock Z370 Extreme 4

I'm using my old laptop as a external harddrive for movies etc. so I don't really need to much storage and I can always extend it later.

gaming only or with editing/rendering work? i'd get a few cheaper components for a 1440p 144hz monitor.

I would simplify the storage replacing the two ssd with a single larger one, Crucial - MX500 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive.

 

I would also select a better sized psu, SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 550W.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
