I've been mining ETH on nanopool. Minimum payout limit for me has gone from 3 days to 6 days. I have mine set to pay at .05. Recently learned about ethermine.org. Are any of you using ethermine.org? I am using 4 RX 580 8GB cards, hashing at about 117 MH/s total. Would ethermine be a better pool to mine on? Seems like it is bigger than nanopool.

Either way, if you're getting reduced payouts it's not because of the pool but because of an overall increase in block difficulty, as the network increases its hashrate.

That said I love ethermine as a pool, they give you nice stats, payout weekly on any balance over 0.1, and have a fixed 1% fee. You could give them a try.

It literally takes changing a single variable on your miner's batch file.

Do us1.ethermine.org:4444 if you're in the states, or eu1.ethermine.org:4444 in Europe. There's also an asian server (don't know the address for that one off the top of my head)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Thank you for you reply. Actually just set up a new .bat file but it starts then immediately crashes. Any idea what would cause that?

Hmm. You might have to give admin permissions to the .bat file.

Make sure it's directed to the correct folder / file, and if everything fails make a copy of the old .bat file, then only change the pool parameters.

If you have any unpaid balance on nanopool, you might want to keep mining there until you're paid out.

Just figured it out, somehow didn't get all the info copied and pasted into my .bat file from ethermine. It's running now so I'll give it a whirl and see how I like it. Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.

One other question - wouldn't I get paid out quicker (even with higher block difficulty) on a pool that has more hashing power or is my understanding of that off?

The frequency of your payouts really depends on the policy of the pool. On ethermine.org you can choose a payout threshold of 0.5-10 eth, where if you hit your threshold you're immediately paid out, or each week (i think it's 00:00 UTC on monday), any balance over 0.01eth is also automatically paid out.

You should be mining around 0.063eth per week, so you'll always get auto paid out on mondays.

I'm mining on a single RX 480 and I take in about .12eth/week, which makes sense because I don't mine 24/7. But I still enjoy the weekly payouts.

I'm mining on ethermine. I've not had any issues and the weekly payouts when your balance is >0.01eth is definitely nice as I can only mine about 0.02-0.025eth/week. In terms of hash rates, I have a total reported hashrate of about 42MH/s (Fury and RX460 4GB) and if I don't stop either miners for 24 hours, I average about 39-40MH/s.

Are you sure its not based on the first time you started mining on ethermine? I get paid every Sunday at 1am~ GMT/UTC, which if we looked back at my statuses is when I roughly started mining (again).

On a side note, considering my Fury isn't mining 24/7, I actually get paid more than what calculators state even when I put in a hashrate of 42MH/s (around 0.022eth/week), especially how I actually only average 35-38MH/s~ (depends on how long I've stopped the fury) so ethermine paying uncles is pretty great?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

What I like about nanopool is it tells me how many days it will take me to mine my minimum payout level (0.05 ETH) and once I hit that minimum level I get paid quickly, sometimes within minutes. They do several payouts per day.

I have been running ethermine about 24 hours now. I will let it mine until I get my first payout and then decide between the 2 different pools. So far, not sold on ethermine yet. Hate to only get paid out 1x per week, if I am understanding the posts above correctly. I am mining 24/7 with my rig.

Nope, you can get paid multiple times a week. Its just down to how quickly you can hit your minimum payout and how many times per week. Both me and energycore do not have the hashrates that allows us to mine >0.05eth/week however we can mine >0.01eth/week so we only get paid once per week.

In other words, there's two way of getting paid:

1. You hit your minimum threshold

2. You've mined more than 0.01eth over a 158hrs period.
