being that the card is only powered via PCI, it has a strict power limit, and there isnt much headroom for overclocking as it will simply throttle itself anyway. On my older pc i played around with my 1050 ti quite a bit, and at most it was stable up to +190 core and +300 to +500 on the memory depending on the workload. even still, the gains weren't noticeable enough to justify being unstable if you were playing an online game.  

 

If the card isnt happy you will know pretty quick, because it will reset and the screen will flash, that is your warning to back off and try again. If you download GPU-Z under the stats tab it will tell you why its throttling whether its thermal or power or the like.
