So this is my current build:

Processor: Intel i7 4770k

Mobo: Asus ROG Maximus VI Formula

RAM: 8 GB Patriot 1333 mhz (upgrading to 16 of corsair vengeance ram)

HD: Western Digital Black 1 TB

SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb

PSU: NZXT Hale 1000w

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60

So two questions and before price comes into question with my build; I have recently come into some money so I am not too particularly worried about price as much as I am about a potential bottleneck.

I want to get the EVGA 780 TI Dual Classified with ACX cooler. Should I run into any issues with this graphics card. I plan on OC'ing my graphics card and CPU.

Additionally one of the reasons I got my particular mobo is the sound solution. What are some good gaming headset options? I have heard the Corsair Vengeance 2000 are really good as well as the Logitech equivalent.

Thanks in advance.

I would wait for the DCUii 780Ti. It looks epic. As for the sound, I would actually go with some Studio Monitors and a Mic. What is your budget for those?

My Build Log on PCPartPicker FX-6300, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, MSI 7870 GHz Edition, Corsair Vengeance LP 1x8GB, 1TB WD Blue, Fractal Core 1000 USB 3.0, Corsair CX600, and my most recent addition that I've had forever and isnt new is a 80GB WD800 for Linux, Lenovo ThinkPad X131e, ASUS Transformer TF300T, Galaxy Note 3 Sister dropped it in a puddle I now have to use a Samsung Brightside, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm version, Blue Yeti  #TheRealKEH-JEFF | "Sometimes, if were lucky, in Australia, a family has 2 kangaroos to pick up the kids with" - marto | Your entry here | Remember kids; just because Linus has a video on it, doesn't mean that its the best choice | ts3.wferr.com the best TeamSpeak Abide by the CoC | Looking for build help? Between the graphics card and the headset I was going to allocate a maximum of $1000-1100.

The 780 Ti is a bad value. Just get a single 290 or 780. I'd wait to see how aftermarket 290's fare.

I would go for an aftermarket R9-290. As for the $500 remaining on audio... Make another topic for that.

I am definitely leaning towards NVidia as I do a fair amount of video editing and 3D rendering (and some CAD work). Also like some features from nvidia: shield, shadowplay, gsync.

I'll probably end up going with a Direct CuII 780 if I go that route.

Ok. the 780 is a great card.

If you're working with cad, you should get a 8350 instead as it's better for 3d rendering than the i7.
