The Goal

I wanted to make a rig that I could easily take to lan parties and the like, and upgrade down the line. I chose the ML06b-e because the case is sturdy enough to be shipped, has enough room for some decent cooling and is small enough to throw in a backpack.

 

 

Specs

  • Amd Ryzen 3 1200
  • Amd Radeon HD 5450
  • Gigabyte ab350n
  • Crucial Ddr4 2133mhz Clocked @2800mhz
  • WD Black 320gb 7200 rpm 3.5inch
  • WD Blue 1tb 5400rpm 2.5inch
  • Silverstone sfx 650w psu
  • Stock wraith cooler
  • 2x Delta 12k rpm 80mm axial fans, double ball bearing.
  • 1x intel 4k rpm 92mm axial fan, Junked out of a server

 

The Plan

  • Install the Cryorig c7, hopefully with the fan
  • Grab some SSd's
  • Cut those cables down to size
  • Replace the fan in the psu with a something more reliable.
  • Get some finger guards...and air filters
  • Seal all the extra holes
  • Mount the Hard drive cage and fans Internally
  • Grab some sata-esata pci slot adapters
  • Reroute the power supply cables out the side
  • Replace the lid, and use a 92mm bit this time
  • Grab a riser, and graphics card
  • Cut the case some more, and finally paint it

Final

That's pretty much it. Let me know what you think, if you guys got any ideas or advice for it, etc.

Yeah! It's crazy. I made the mistake of selling my old rig right before prices spiked. I want to get the case together before I tackle it. Hopefully gpu prices will drop before I'm done.
