12 Gigs of ram+ 2+1 gigs of GPU, can't run Unturned on 60fps...

Boris_191

I have 12 gigs of ram and Radeon R5 1GB+ Radeon R7 2GB GPU's but i can hardly get 40 fps on Unturned. (in lowest settings) Does anyone know the reason/ how to solve the problem?

(I also tried CPUCores, it gave me around 5 more FPS average.)

what cpu and board?
ever tryed only running the R7 and not the R5? I guess it might be faster ...

It's a laptop, and i can't switch r5 to r7... The CPU is AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics.

The motherboard is a HP 80B8. Also, the rams are 4+8gigs running at 1600 MHZ.

The moment I read Radeon R5 I just slightly facepalmed. R5 graphics are extreme low end. Unless you bought this a while ago then why didnt you wait for something like Raven Ridge? I have an Envy X360 with the R5 2500U and can easily get 1080p Medium 60-80 FPS

It's a laptop, so it's probably designed to power save. If it only had R7, it would use the battery while in office/internet apps so quickly.

My Envy X360 is a laptop too, And even with R7 graphics it would still struggle. Those pre-Ryzen APUs in laptops suck in general. Even the best one the FX-9800P gets destroyed by whats the yet to be released R3 2300U.

What difference does that make? Your GPU simply can't handle it, no matter how low-res the game is.

It says that i'll get 20 fps on lowest settings in Battlefield 3. But i played it some time ago, and i got around 35-50 fps?
