graphics cards Upgrading Prebuilt

I want to replace the integrated of my Lenovo IdeaCentre 510 15 IKL desktop with a proper GPU and was wondering how I'd do it and if there was a plug to connect the GPU to the PSU. If not then would I have to buy a low power consuming card and which cards would be best? I'd appreciate any help

What is your psu wattage rating?

 

There are YT videos showing you how to install a regular store bought psu, I will see if I can find it for you, its ultra easy to convert.

It only has a 210 watt power supply so highly doubt it'll have a 6/8 pin on there.

 

A 560/1050 would probably be your best(and only) option.

ok it has a pcie x16 slot but does that mean id have to buy a low power consuming gpu then

Yeah, best you could put in would be a 1050 or a 560.

Last solution would be running gpu off of a separate psu.

Or you could ALSO upgrade your psu. There are ones out there that will be a direct drop in and will get the job done.
