GDDR5 RAM is what a dedicated graphics card uses, and is soldered to whatever dedicated graphics card you're using.

System RAM is DDR2/DDR3/DDR4.

So yes, it will work with a Corsiar CX 550M

In terms of compatibility, the only thing you have to worry about with PSU is if it works with your motherboard.  (Power requirements are another story)

As stated above, GDDR5 RAM is related to your video card.  Generally has no bearing when it comes to building a PC.
