Stressing so much

Aaron2001

I CANNOT get this damn cooler mounted! It’s been an hour and a half of trial and error and problem checking but it won’t fit.

Cooler: cooler master master liquid 240l rgb

mobo: Asus prime z370-a

according to the manual the black caps must meet and the 2nd line but this cheap ass bracket won’t let that happen if it wants to align in the board and the bottom screws don’t seem long enough now when I managed to get the top 2screwed,

this is is so godamn bad!

Unscrew the top screws, move the cooler down slightly, put all 4 screws in the holes, then tighten each one evenly at the same time.

LGA 1151 bracket.

The bottom left pin* is not popped in to the middle as the others.

*Labeled as "J" in the manual

Btw. you not supposed to tighten the top 2 screw until the bottom screws are not on. It is better to do it diagonally.

I fixed it long story short the bracket mounted to the cooler on one side was outward so either way one side would be out farther lmao it only took 2 hours thx guys
