Microstuttering

Hey everyone my pc started micro suttering about when the whole intel leak thing was going on,

Os Windows 10 64 bit

i7 6700k

Msi gtx 1070 gaming x

16gb 2400

evga 650 supernova nex

 

Ill have 200 or so fps in a game and it will randomly drop down to 150 but it feels like it drops down to 30 fps once that happens.

Ive tried to reinstall drivers but that didnt work.

What games is it doing this in?  And what's your monitor and try to put on Steam Overlay or MSI Afterburner when playing games, you can keep an eye on the framerates that way

Every game just tried to record a game and it dropped me down to 10 fps when used to record with no fps drop

monitor is ASUS PB277Q

Well don't try to record the game, just see what frames you're getting first. 

I take it you used DDU to uninstall the GPU drivers and reinstall them?

Hmm.  You say you notice a different between 200 frames and 150 frames... but your monitor is only a 75Hz panel.  Is it running maybe 75 to like... 50?

not a difference in how smooth everything is but in that little jump the game freezes a bit but it says its at 150

Sounds like something might be going on in the background.  Background processes running?

If you can get FRAPS, it has a feature that can log frame-times. You can use that to determine if the buffer swapping is happening in such a way that makes it appear to spit frames out at 30 FPS even though on average it did 150.
