U wot m8?

That's super clean compared to mine (and I'd imagine most peoples' desks too).

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

If you're gonna be super nitpicky, how about something to route all your USB cables?

Or maybe get a straight USB hub that looks something like this:

Use zip ties, cable raceways etc...

my my biggest tip is DONT ZIPTIE ANYTHING YOU PLAN ON MOVING

Also, if possible try and double tape the hubs and strips to the bottom of your desk

Drill a hole in the desk and run whatever cables you can through the desk. Get a cable hole cover to make the hole look neater. Use cable holder clips with adhesive backs to route the cables on the underside of the desk and stop them from drooping, or alternatively you can use cable ducting/raceways.

If you're not constantly plugging things in/out of the USB hub then consider mounting it to the underside of the desk with double sided tape with whatever cables you need running up to the top via the cable hole.

best desk cable mangement device you can have. i use them along the back of every desk i own and i am a pro cable manager. i have pc, xbox, ps4, and switch and the only cables you can see on my desk are 1 to mouse and 1 to keyboard. also if you use a box(i use a shoebox that has a nice floatplane(lol floatplane) design by margaritaville boat shoes) then you can get away with hiding a lot of cables simply.

Looks as if OP is using his laptop as a desktop PC, with the laptop giving HDMI to the monitor as well as running a USB hub to control peripherals, charging cable for the laptop, as well as some kind of charging cable also plugged in to the hub (probably phone).

I wouldn't recommend zip tieing something like a mouse. As you move it across the desk you may find that the mouse cable will pull and won't be able to fully move around the desk as you need, which you may not notice under normal usage until you desperately need to 360 no scope some no0b.
