Dual core running Single?

My i5-7200U has 2 cores but is only using 1. What is the problem

hmm yeah just see if there's a bios setting or something that disabled a core

That's why you need to check if your bios has a core enabled, so you will know.. Dude

What does this setting in windows look like for you.

 

Run msconfig > boot tab > advanced options 

 

Is number of processors checked?  If so uncheck it.
