So I bought two 1080ti's and for some reason im having issues. I used the game the witcher 3 and im only getting single card performance yet the top card says 80% and the bottom sits at 60-70%. This has me so annoyed if I cant find a fix Im selling the secon card. I tried both cards without sli and they both work as intended so, an I tried swapping the top and bottom card so im at a 100% loss here.

CPU: 6700K Case: Corsair Air 740 CPU Cooler: H110i GTX Storage: 2x250gb SSD 960gb SSD PSU: Corsair 1200watt GPU: EVGA 1080ti FTW3 RAM: 16gb DDR4

Other Stuffs: Red sleeved cables, White LED lighting 2 noctua fans on cpu cooler and Be Quiet PWM fans on case.

most games are not sli ready, some actually perform worse with sli, its better to stick with one

Witcher 3 is well known for having good sli support.

If they are both working it’s supported.

Sounds like an issue elsewhere.

Need specs and stats of hardware while under load.

U found out the issue. It doesn't like my ultrawide. Runs fine with both at 100% on the 16:9 monitor but for some reason I think it's seeing my ultrawide as multi monitor and not a single screen.

Surprised that cpu is keeping up regardless. That's the only issue I had, sli with enough pixels was stressing the cpu too much and dropping performance for the cards.

I was getting over 200fps in 1080p when I tested my CPU. Only saw 50% CPU utilization when I did that in Witcher 3. When I put it in 4k it's not a issue at all as the fps doesn't get high enough to overload the CPU with frames to render.

Edit: i7 6700k is more then enough CPU power for what I'm using these cards for. Seems to just be a issue with the ultrawide and sli.

Shouldn't change anything unless the game has an issue at that res. I play at 3k for a lot of games and only had issues with cpu's for a few. I tend to play cpu intensive games though so it happens often.

Do you have AA enabled?

If so, disable it and use ReShade FXAA or Driver FXAA. Witcher 3 uses TAA, which kills SLI at higher resolutions.
