Is the BenQ XL2420T good? The games i play are: Battlefield 4,League of Legends, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, Guildwars 2, Crysis 3, Far cry 3 and etc. But i mainly play League of Legends as I am a tournament competitor on League of Legends. I like the XL2420T because it has a decent price and has all the Swivel,Tilt,Height Adjust(I really like this feature) and Pivot. It also has the Flicker-Free technology which i think is nice because I wear eyeglasses and based on what they are claiming,it will help lessen the stress on my eyes with long practices. Im open to any other suggestions :).

Note: Yeah,we only have the XL2420T model here on where I live. No XL2720 :(.

Note: Its price is now around $418 here converted :). Which is also the maximum budget I have :(

Thanks in advance :))

Why a high frequency TN instead of an IPS panel?

Why a high frequency TN instead of an IPS panel?

Because an IPS panel with Height adjust is expensive :(

meh it's good but kinda old now, not so good picture quality, not 144Hz, alright response times.

What would you suggest?

And the XL2420T isn't?

Where are you shopping?

Local stores here at where I live. The other IPS Monitors with Height Adjust are more expensive than the XL2420T

Unless you have a highend GPU or multiple cards in SLI/Crossfire you wont be able to make use of that 144hz refresh rate. Look into something like the PA238 or PA248. They are booth great IPS monitors will all the features you want.

I have a GTX 660Ti. I think it can go 144?

Think of it this way, unless you get 144 fps in the games you play in a 144hz monitor is a waste. The 660ti isn't powerful enough to get 144fps in some of the games you play even on low settings. Just get a nice IPS monitor like one of the ones I suggested.

A 760 hawk is a very small upgrade over your current card so I wouldn't bother if I where you. I spend a stupid amount of time on my computer and I wear glasses and have a PA248 so you should be fine.

Do the shops have websites you can link?

The 760 is more of a sidegrade than an upgrade from the 660 Ti.

I don't think the Flicker-free thing will do much if anything for your eyes.

You don't experience stress in your eyes after long sessions?

I just think that I would benefit from the Flicker-free as I tend to feel my eyes irritated with long practices

Looks nice, but i really hate the feeling of eye strain after long practice sessions. I thought the Flicker-Free from BenQ would help haha. But if it doesn't..well I think this can do

For one, a ProArt display will look tangibly much better.

Not sure. The Asus display is a ProArt display so it's less prone to flicker or artifacts.
