Shutting down

Hey guys I am new to pc gaming so I do not know if this is ok for my computer so when I go to shut down my pc and hit shutdown it says steam shutting down is that ok? But I can't close steam

Yeah. You could close Steam first if it worries you.

Only time when there might be issue is 10s after you exit the game and Steam is syncing. You might loose sync, but nothing else.
