I'm looking for a thin and light laptop that can play games really well but something that doesn't have that "gaming" look to it , my current favorites are the surface book 2 and the asus zephyrus with the GTX 1070. The games I would be playing are dota 2, PUBG , R6 siege and maybe some indie games

Get a Ryzen APU laptop? It just needs dual channel higher speed memory preferably. Should be able to run those games just fine. Cept for PUBG because it's a pile of hot garbage. Though AMD's latest driver claims a 7% performance uplift in it.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Yeah but are there any high end laptops in the market right now with the APU?

Unless you absolutely need the bets portable gaming machine and it's going to be your only PC, I'd suggest saving money for the most part.

Why do you need a top end laptop exactly?

Just want something that lasts for a few years and run all the games with ease and also I just love high build quality products in general

Main point is you 100% need the portability of a laptop? Do you need a long battery life in the laptop? Because a gaming laptop isn't going to have that.

I don't mind a 2 hour battery life but it should be portable but talking about battery life and portability what do you think of the surface book 2 15-inch, it has a decent battery life and has a gtx 1060

The surface book 2 is an improvement over the first, but it's still mostly an overpriced machine unless you need the pen support

There's also Coffee Lake Laptops coming with improved CPUs.

Here's one for under $1500 with a 1080p IPS display, i7 and 1060

But seriously I'd consider saving most of that money because newer/better stuff is always comings, and you don't need much to run the games you want to run.

Or possibly look into more workstation oriented machines, likely without the xeon/quadro here
