First time WC question

I finally got my tubing and fittings and they are EK 3/8 1/2 Fittings and 3/8 1/2 primochill tubing but the tubing barely fits onto the fittings and I could only get close to the end but not nearly all the way. When I compare the fittings and tubing the tubing is slightly smaller than the fittings at the narrowet point. Is this normal? Should it take a LOT of force?

Yes, a tight fit is fairly normal on compression fittings.  Only ones I've every used that went on pretty easily were Monsoon and Phobya.

Awesome! It worked. Do you know if thats a good size or is it too small. Ill be doing a loop with a gpu and cpu.

3/8" ID is fine.  Generally, I go for 3/8" ID 5/8" OD just so that there's a little more tube wall, but that's just me.

You can also rub a little bit of water inside the tube to make it slide better
